Introducing the "Continue Reading" Feature!
In this update, we are excited to introduce the brand new "Continue Reading" feature, which allows you to easily return to your last reading position and seamlessly continue reading across different devices.
This feature is especially beneficial for e-paper device users. Due to the current limitations of e-paper display technology in color reproduction compared to LCD screens, some photos or image content may be harder to perceive on e-paper devices. While we primarily browse the web to read and absorb textual information, there are occasions when we need to check the original colors or details of an image.
When such needs arise, simply press "Save Position" in the Eink Mode's "Function Panel," then switch to your LCD Android phone, tablet, or any device with Eink Mode installed. After that, by pressing "Restore Position," you can instantly return to where you were reading. You can quickly view the image content on the LCD color screen and then return to your e-paper device to continue reading without having to search for your place again.
Besides viewing images, the "Continue Reading" feature is also perfect for reading long articles across devices. For example, you might be halfway through an article on your computer and need to step out; just hit "Save Position" and later, you can press "Restore Position" on your phone, tablet, or e-paper reader to continue from where you left off.
In the past, we often had to manually copy URLs and send them to ourselves via Messenger, Email, or other messaging apps, then open the webpage on another device and spend time scrolling to find our previous reading position. Sometimes, we would sift through a lengthy browsing history to locate the pages we had visited. Now, with the "Continue Reading" feature, all those tedious steps are eliminated, making cross-device reading much more intuitive, quick, and smooth.
