Introduction to New Features

On January 11, 2025, we are delighted to announce the official release of version v1.0.0. This update introduces a variety of highly anticipated new features, designed to enhance the user experience and provide broader multilingual support.
Currently, we support eleven languages: Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, English, Japanese, Spanish, German, Russian, French, Portuguese, Arabic, and Indonesian. We will continue to expand language support in the future, enabling users to read web pages in an environment that feels more familiar to them.

New Features and Improvements

One of the highlights of this update is the addition of a version update notification icon, allowing users to stay informed about the latest version updates at any time.
In addition, for desktop users, we have introduced customizable keyboard shortcuts. Within the Eink Mode of the user guide, users can easily configure personalized shortcuts, significantly improving operational efficiency.

The interface has also been visually refined to deliver a smoother and more aesthetically pleasing overall experience. To improve user interaction, we have fixed several known issues, including the proper restoration of web page rendering when entering scroll mode, improved page-turning speed when rapidly scrolling with the mouse wheel, and the resolution of issues that previously caused certain websites to become unresponsive.

Performance Enhancements and Fixes

Beyond new features, we have also strengthened overall performance. The main content extraction and layout algorithms have been improved, allowing support for a wider range of websites with superior layout quality. At the same time, we optimized ad removal capabilities and increased the speed of switching between black-and-white backgrounds, resulting in a noticeably enhanced reading experience.

When navigating between different pages on the same website, we have improved reading continuity to ensure a smoother experience. We also addressed several issues from previous versions, such as incorrect content conversion when browsing desktop versions of websites on mobile devices.
Additionally, we specifically improved issues related to fullscreen switching, ensuring users enjoy a more comfortable and seamless reading experience.

We will continue to closely monitor user feedback and improve the product through ongoing updates, with the goal of delivering an even more refined user experience. We look forward to introducing many more new features in future releases!
